1.  Callgard

Callgard is the UK’s best selling automated TPS call screening system.
Make a call from any UK phone line and the call can be automatically checked against the TPS and CTPS files. 2.  Datagard

Datagard is an automated data screening service which will return your data file ‘clean to call’ in a matter of minutes. Whether in excel, sql, csv, access or notepad format, your data is screened, marked and returned in minutes with TPS/ CTPS numbers clearly marked.

3. SilentcallGard - Protection against Silent Calls

If your company uses predictive diallers for outbound calls, then you should be aware of the issues caused by silent calls, and how Silent Callgard can help.

The reaction of most consumers to receiving a silent call is one of confusion, as they are often unaware of why they might be receiving it. This confusion leads to anxiety and distress as further silent calls are received, as people may believe they are being maliciously targeted.

The next step for a consumer is to contact the Nuisance Call Bureau (NCB) of their telecom supplier (usually BT or NTL) to try and find out why these calls are being received, and they ask for them to be stopped. BT alone receives over 100,000 calls about silent calls to their NCB ever month. The Nuisance Call Bureau will advise the caller to register with Silent Callgard (0870 444 3969). This free of charge service is supported by the TPS, the Direct Marketing Association and OFCOM. Its aim is to provide consumers who have been inconvenienced by persistent silent calls to have a simple method of dealing with the problem.

The consumer’s number is collected via the registration service, and added to the Silent Callgard file. This file is then made available, also free of charge, as a suppression file to companies using predictive diallers. Our policy is to update the file every day with the new registrations, enabling companies using the file to stop delivering silent calls to an individual that feels distressed by receiving them.

This process has 2 distinct benefits;

1 For the consumer - Having registered with the service, silent calls should reduce or cease.

2 For the company - Protection from delivering a silent call to a person who has registered their preference no to receive them
